Best Mithai Shops In Delhi at South Ex Sweet Street: Bengali Sweet Center in South Ex They've been serving the people of Delhi for over two decades. Spread over two floors, this establishment is both a restaurant and a sweetmeats store. The sweetmeat store is on the first floor while the restaurant dining area is in the second. Their decor is simple and the restaurant is neat and hygienic. The service is good as well. Like most sweetmeat-cum-restaurant establishments, they are pure veg. They serve a mix of North Indian, South Indian, Indian Chinese and Streetfood. Chole Bhature is one of their best selling items. Even their Papdi Chaat and Golgappe are pretty good. Thier Bombay Pav Bhaji is worth a try as well. If you feel like trying South Indian, go for the Mysore Masala Dosa. They also have options like various Platters, Thalis and Combos for those who are looking for a more rounded and wholesome meal. For those just looking to snack on something light, they have the usual sandwiches-fries-kind of items as well. While they have a wide range of beverages, I'd prefer to stick to their Lassi. And if you've got a sweet tooth then you're in for a treat. The sweetmeat store downstairs gives the menu a rich variety of mithai. Their ice cream specialities will have you wanting more. Go for the Chocolate Nut. Best Reataurant In Delhi Desi Starbucks: SardarBuksh in Netaji Subhash Place As the name suggests, they're very similar to the international coffee franchise. From the rhyming syllables to the branding style. Initially, when they first opened thier kiosk in Rajouri Garden, the logo was eerily similar with the use of Green, White and Black. However, they seem to have changed it now to yellow on black and black on yellow. Maybe they got a call from the lawyers at Starbucks or they just thought it would be wiser. Anyhow, their logo is pretty cool. Going to the coffee, they've priced them lower to make them more affordable and better suited for the Indian crowd. With their customers swearing by their coffee, Starbucks and other competitors might lose their customers to this desi brand. The drinks are served in takeaway cups as they don't have seating space. The coffee is served in two sizes (piccolo/medio, regular/large). They also serve a wide variety of other drinks labelled under Chocolate Behaviour, Special Orea Shakes, Healthy Premium, Iced Mocks, Ice Teas, Cold Coffees and Original Shakes. You get them in three sizes, Mega/King/Super (regular, medium, large). The edibles that they serve are Fries, Waffles and Nachos. The highlight of this menu is their Shake Shake Fries. Possibly inspired by McDonald's seasonal Piri Piri Shake Shake Fries (don't know why they didn't just make it a permanent item since it was so popular), this could be the one reason I'd definitely go here. Go there for the love for coffee or a chance to see how this Starbucks inspired desi coffee brand will live up to the international company, that just opened its 100th store in India. Or maybe SardarBuksh took zero inspiration from the Americans. Either way, it'll be fun to see what they have to offer. Also, Peri Peri Shake Shake Fries. Best Restaurant In Gurgaon Hakka Hakka: The Spice Wok in Gurgaon This new Asian joint is all set you to help you satisfy your cravings for Asian cuisine if you're in the neighbourhood. Located in Sector 50, Gurgaon, their customers have applauded them for their prompt delivery. That being said, they're a delivery only service, so it would suck if they weren't able to deliver on time (not competing with Dominos but these guys to ensure that your food is steaming when it hits you). Their menu has a lot of choices. To begin with, the Tom Yum Soup is ideal for those who've got a taste for all things sour and tangy like I do. Chicken Sui Mai for the carnivores from their momo department. The Spice Wok Special is a good pick if you're vegetarian. Onto the starters, Cheese Melt Chimi Changa Roll (Deadpool anyone?) for the veg lot, Crispy Honey Chilli Chicken for the non-veg. They also have seafood options, if that's what floats your boat. Stir Fried Asian Greens as a main for that extra dietary fibre, The Spice Wok Special Lamb for the carnivores. Mix it with up with Rice or Noodles (I recommend the veg Thai Basil Rice). On the sweet side, they only have Chocolate Brownie which isn't half bad. If you wish to escape the hassle of ordering multiple dishes but want a more rounded meal, order the Corporate Bento Meal. You get to customise it as well. Yaaaaaas. Address: Sector 50, Gurgaon Contact: +91 8587001111 Price for two: Rs.800 Explore More: https://www.delhipedia.com/Home/Category/Restaurant& Bar

Best Restaurant In Delhi Asian In The AM: Captain Chang in Vasant Kunj Located in Vasant Kunj, this new Asian joint is a delivery only restaurant. The downside being they have no in-house service, but the compensate by staying open till 4 am! So if you're still up binge-watching tv shows and get a craving for Asian cuisine, give them a call. They have a pretty vast menu. Starting with soups, the Sweet Corn Soup never fails to impress (I prefer adding chicken to mine). As for salads, Som Tam (raw papaya salad) has always been a favourite. For starters try their Crispy Honey Chicken. Not a fan of their dim sums. Moving on to mains, veggies go for Pok Choy And Braised Shitake In Sesame Oil. Meat eaters, try the Lamb In Shezwan Sauce or Kung Pao Chicken. Not a fan of seafood but do have a look at thier options if you're into that. Mix these up with rice or noodles. I prefer the Thai basil rice. For those looking for a more simple complete meal package have one of thier bowl meals. Safe Bet is Khao Suey. If you want to take it up a notch get into your Master Chef mode as you BYOB (Build Your Own Bowl). With this option, you get to choose your Base (6 options), Sauce (7 options), Main Ingredient (Tofu, Egg and 5 other non-veg options), Veggie Toppings (12 options) and Garnish (6 options). The combinations are endless and only limited by your imagination. You could probably just live off these for an entire month and still not have had every possible combination. To end your meal on a sweet note, go for the Dark Chocolate Fudge.
