Restaurant In Delhi Coffee and More: Champa Gali It's less than a year old. This street was born last year and was the brainchild of this crew, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, People Tree, Jugaad Trust, Jugmug Thela, Jamura Design Lab and Eastman Works. This lot wanted a space where entrepreneurs and social enterprises could come together to vibe without the clutter that gathers in usual commercial hubs. And so Champa Gali came into existence. This Gali is situated in Saidulajab, a village in Saket. There isn't much to go by and as you approach the location, it seems like you're far from civilisation. But when you finally get there, you're greeted by a cafe that has enough coffee to keep you awake for the rest of your life. Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters has quite the variety of coffee on their menu and mind you, they roast their own coffee. On site. They even hold brewing sessions once a month. So if you're a coffee enthusiast it's a place you can't afford to miss. Next to this cafe is People Tree. They're a creative agency that sells hand-printed and Khadi clothes and stoles, magazines, books, handmade stationary, footwear etc. Then there's Chai. Jug Mug Thela and they sell quite the range of chai and coffee. But as the name suggests, they're a thela so they're only there when events occur. However, they will probably set up a permanent store at this gali with time but for now, you can catch this pop-up cafe as they move about from one event to another. Follow their facebook to keep updated. As for events, Champa Gali doesn't host many because they don't just want random things. They only host specific events that are unique and in a way define what India is about. So far, they've had two open houses, one of poetry and the other an art exhibition. They were also the venue for the launch of Delhi Sultanate’s Bass Foundation Roots sound system. 1.Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters Contact: 098211 26015 Address: Khasra 258, Lane 3, West End Marg Saidulajab, New Delhi 2.Jug Mug Thela Contact: 098714 70507 Explore More: https://www.delhipedia.com
