Best Lassi Wala in Delhi Dahi Love: Amritsari Lassi Wala in Chandni Chowk Lassi, as we know, is one of the few blessings that the past has left us with. The drink is believed to have originated in the Punjab region and is basically a frothy mixture of Dahi (yoghurt), water and sugar (though people substitute this or add to it, salt and/or other spices as and when they feel the need to). Malai is usually used to top the drink which is then sprinkled with a mix of nuts and dry fruits. Most of the time the drink itself is so rich that it could be considered to be a rather nutritious meal all alone. Located opposite to a legendary sweet meat store, Chaina Ram, Amritsari Lassi Wala has earned quite the reputation as well. Having been established in the early months of 1974, they've successfully managed to keep the thirst of their customers quenched for over 42 years. Surinder Chawla was the person responsible for this brilliant beverage speciality store and he had just three items on the menu when the shop first opened. These were Namkeen-Jeera, Sweet Malai and the Malai-free variety. Today the management is under his descendant, Anshuman Chawla and the Lassi store now has six speciality lassi flavours on board. These are Kesar Badam, Malai, Mango, Banana, Namkeen Jeera and Rose Badam. The popularity of this joint can be seen with their customer footfall which averages around 500 per day. That's a minimum of 500 glasses of lassi sold on the daily. So, if you're craving for that milky goodness on a hot summer day and nothing but the best will quench your thirst, head over here. Also, they can pack it for you if you wish to take some home and will even home deliver it. Explore More: https://www.delhipedia.com/Home/Category/Restaurant& Bar

Best Restaurant In Delhi First-Hand Experience: Getafix in GK 1 It sits on the first floor. Opposite an eyewear store, Getafix is a small but beautiful restaurant. They specialise in making the healthiest of foods, using all natural ingredients to make the most wholesome of meals. Also, since they're all about health food, it makes it the ideal spot for the calorie conscious and dieting crowd. It's been a while but I finally got around to giving this place a visit that was long overdue. I'm not much of a gym rat but I did have my fitness phase, so much that I even did a certification course in fitness at one point. To begin with, we were given "watermelon detox" water when we opted for regular water over the bottled option. I figure that's basically filtered water that's been bottled with a few watermelon slices in it. Not sure how it works but intriguing indeed. Grilled Chicken Burger for me and Air Fried Fish and Chips for my friend. A Spong Bob (a mixed juice of Green Apple, Pineapple and Orange) to help us wash it down. The burger was freakishly healthy. And for once, I knew that it was Real chicken in my burger. Both dishes came with air fried potato wedges. The Fish wasn't all that great but considering there was no oil used I was impressed. However, it was the wedges that I fell in love with. For dessert, they brought the full crew. Vegan Carrot Cake. Lime Pie. Sugarless Brownie. The meal itself was rather filling, seeing at it was all natural and nutritious AF, but when the last ensemble arrived I somehow managed to make space in my belly. It's funny how we always have space for cake and ice cream. The carrot cake was delish. Loved the sweet-sour syrup they had topped it with. The brownie, not so much. Lime Pie was good as well. When life gives you lemons, make a lime pie. A little time consuming but when you make it like them, it's worth it. Explore More: https://www.delhipedia.com
